Dedicated to the memory of Edwin Bastiaensen
This site is a tribute to Edwin Bastiaensen. Edwin was much loved and will always be remembered by his family, his partner, his friends, his colleagues and by the vast global network of people who knew him.

Edwin Bastiaensen served as IMMA Secretary General from 2011 to 2024 and before this, he was part of the motorcycle community at the European motorcycle manufacturers’ association, ACEM. The grief from this tragic loss of Edwin has touched the whole motorcycle community across the globe. Edwin leaves behind him an immense legacy of dedication to a sector that, for so many of us, represents more than just a job, it is a passion.
Edwin was a figurehead to our industry, well known to so many in our sector and beyond, through the international institutions with which IMMA collaborates. His collegiate approach and enthusiasm for our work and most of all his friendship will be deeply missed.
Rest in peace, Edwin.
